Lead Capture Form collects visitor details before the chat starts. This is useful for sales inquiries, demo requests, and support triage.What it does#

Enable Lead Capture#
Turn ON to require the form before chat
Turn OFF to start chat immediately without collecting details
Title
Form heading (example: “Sales Inquiry”)
Subtitle
Short helper text (example: “Fill out to connect with sales.”)
Submit Button
Button label (example: “Start Chat”)
You can add multiple fields and configure each one:Field label (example: “Email”, “Phone”)
Field type (example: Email, Phone)
Delete field (trash icon)
Reorder fields (drag handle)
Recommended setup#
Keep the form short (1 to 3 fields) to reduce drop-off
Make only critical fields required
Use clear placeholder text that matches the field type
Steps#

Open Advanced Settings → Lead Capture Form

Toggle Enable Lead Capture ON

Set Title, Subtitle, and Submit Button

Under Form Fields, click Add Custom Field

The form appears before chat
Required fields must be filled
After submission, chat opens normally
Troubleshooting#
Ensure Enable Lead Capture is ON
Check if a required field is empty or invalid
Make sure field type matches expected input (Email field needs a valid email)
Reduce the number of required fields
Shorten the subtitle and keep it benefit-focused
