Link WhatsApp with AI Agent

How to Link WhatsApp with an AI Agent#

You can connect a WhatsApp number to your AI Agent so it can handle conversations automatically.

Step 1: Select the Agent#

Go to the AI Agents page and select the agent in which you want to set up WhatsApp.

Step 2: Open Install Section#

After opening the selected agent, click on Install from the left menu.
In the Install section, you will see multiple installation options for different platforms.

Step 3: Select WhatsApp#

In the Install section, choose WhatsApp.
This will open the WhatsApp linking page for that agent.

Step 4: Check Linked Numbers and Available WhatsApp Numbers#

On the WhatsApp linking page, you will see two sections:
Linked Numbers
This shows the WhatsApp numbers already connected to the selected agent.
Your WhatsApp Numbers
This shows the WhatsApp numbers available in your account.

Step 5: If Your WhatsApp Number Is Already Set Up#

If your WhatsApp number is already set up in your account, it will appear in Your WhatsApp Numbers.
To connect it with the selected agent:
1.
Click on Link Number
2.
Select the number you want to connect
3.
Click on Link
Once linked, your AI Agent will be able to handle messages on that WhatsApp number.

Step 6: If Your WhatsApp Number Is Not Set Up Yet#

If no WhatsApp number is available yet, first complete the WhatsApp account setup.
To do that:
1.
Click Setup or Setup New WhatsApp Account
2.
You will be redirected to the WhatsApp setup flow
3.
Complete all required setup steps
After setup is completed, your WhatsApp number will appear in Your WhatsApp Numbers.
You can then link that number to your selected agent.

Step 7: Link the Number to Your Agent#

Once the number is visible in Your WhatsApp Numbers:
1.
Click on Link Number
2.
Choose the available WhatsApp number
3.
Click on Link
The selected WhatsApp number will now be linked to your AI Agent.

Important Note#

One WhatsApp number can be linked to only one agent at a time.
If a number is already linked to another agent, it will not be available for linking.
In that case, you will need to use another available WhatsApp number or set up a new one.

Done#

Your AI Agent is now ready to handle WhatsApp conversations through the linked number.
