Setup New WhatsApp Account

You can set up your WhatsApp account from the installation section of your agent.

Step 1: Open WhatsApp Setup

Select the agent for which you want to set up WhatsApp

Open the Installation tab

Select WhatsApp

Click on Setup WhatsApp Account

If no WhatsApp number is available yet, this setup is required before linking a number to your agent.

Step 2: Start Production Setup

After clicking setup, you will see the WhatsApp account setup welcome screen.

Click on Start Production Setup to begin the process.

Step 3: Watch the Setup Video First

Before continuing, there is also a setup video available to help you complete the process.

Click on Watch Setup Video to understand the setup flow before proceeding.

This can help you avoid mistakes during the Meta onboarding process.

Step 4: Keep the Required Details and Documents Ready

Before you continue, keep the following details and documents ready:

Business Registration Certificate / Incorporation Certificate

Business Address Proof such as Utility Bill or Bank Statement

GST Certificate / Tax ID

Official Business Website

Business Email Domain

Facebook / Meta Business Manager Account

Dedicated Phone Number

Phone number requirements:

It can be used if it is already registered on WhatsApp Business, because migration is supported

It cannot be used if it is already registered on WhatsApp Messenger

In that case, you must use a number that is not registered on WhatsApp Messenger

Make sure the number you use is dedicated for business communication.

Step 5: Continue with Meta Setup

On the Connect Meta step, click on Continue with Facebook to start the setup.

A secure Meta window will open where you need to complete the required business and WhatsApp account steps.

There, you may need to:

Select your business portfolio

Select or create your WhatsApp Business account

Submit the required business details

Step 6: Complete the Setup

Once all required steps are completed successfully, your setup will move toward completion.

After the setup is submitted, Meta may take up to 24 hours to verify the account, provided all documents and details are correct.

Important Note

Business verification approval or rejection depends entirely on Meta.

If any document or business detail does not meet Meta requirements, the verification may be delayed or rejected.

Once the setup is approved by Meta, your WhatsApp account will be ready for use and can be linked with your agent.
